Approval regulations

Only physicians with a federal or foreign doctor's diploma recognised by the FOPH are admitted to the basic examination (Art. 23 WBO). The transitional provisions are set out in Art. 69 para. 3 of the WBO.

Confirmation

Registration of a candidate is only effective once the online registration has been completed and the full payment of the examination fee has been received.

Withdrawal

Your online registration is a binding registration for the basic surgical exam. There will be no refund if you withdraw from the exam.

If you cancel your registration or fail to appear for the exam, the full amount remains due, regardless of the reason. Any outstanding examination fees will subsequently be reminded.
