The learning goals describe the entire examination material. The blueprint is intended to ensure that the questions selected for an examination are representative of the entire material and of all the learning goals. As in the list of learning goals (see p. 5), there are two different dimensions or levels in the blueprint also:
In Blueprint 1:
”The body and its organs, diseases and injuries", the material is divided into 9
(more nosological) categories, which in turn are divided into subcategories (see pages 24 and 25).
In Blueprint 2:
”Doctors‘ areas of activity, especially in surgery”, the material is presented in 6
(more treatment-related) categories.
